SOOJI KO KACHAURI RECIPE
Key Ingredients
For Sooji dough:
Sooji 2 cupsCarom/Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon (ajwain/ jeera)
Cooking oil 1.5 tablespoon
Water 3 cups
Salt As per taste
Chilly powder 1teaspoon
For Stuffing:
Potato 2 cups (boiled and mashed)Green Chilly (chopped) 2-3
Coriander leaf (chopped) 1/4 cup
Red Chilly Powder 1 teaspoon
Garam masala 1/4 tablespoon
Chat masala 1/4 tablespoon
Cumin seed 1 teaspoon
Chopped onion 1 medium
Salt As per taste
Recipe:
- Put pan on the gas stove and add water in it.
- Add Sooji and all the other ingredients mentioned above to prepare the dough in it. Stir until the mixture become thick then turn off the gas
- Take a bowl and then add mashed potato and add all the ingredients mentioned above for stuffing in it.
- Put 1-2 drop of oil in hand and spread it all over the hand
- Take dough (small ) and press it with the hand
- Make some space in the dough and put stuffing in it and close it.
- Now heat oil in the pan and then deep fry these Tikkies until color changes to brown color on both side
- Remove extra oil with a paper towel. Serve delicious kachauri with chutney or tomato sauce.
